Full client security is maintained as password protection of all components plus the added unique facility that allows the end-user to personalise the encryption algorithm string to work in conjunction with the Multi-level 256-bit Blowfish Encryption, to ensure total personalised security.

Installation

ZipToNetX is easily installed and configured on each client computer or server on the network - it is fast, reliable and scales from an individual PC to enterprises with multi-user/multi-server networks. After installation on the Client PC or Server, all that is required is for an FTP address, User Name and Password to be entered – taking no longer than 2 minutes for installation.

The software accommodates full and incremental backups, scheduled or on demand, and preserves directory structure, registry, symbolic links and special attributes. The system manages file system data and, with extension modules, provides on-line backup for databases also across Local Area Networks. The software runs unattended backups on any schedule (hourly, daily, on boot-up or scheduled at a specific time though the Task Scheduler using the Operating System) and copy, encrypts and compresses new and changed files from all client computers and send the backup data to one central storage location, either on the network, or to another FTP address using a leased line or even through an internet connection. Taking Incremental backups saves time, storage space and network bandwidth.

ZipToNetX Clients can be used in any combination to meet your backup requirements and are available in either single or multi-users (up to 100 users) licences per backup-up server - one Software Package for Single or Multi-user Licences. The software is "Client driven" and not "Server driven" - i.e. software is ONLY installed on each workplace/PC/Laptop and no preparation is required for the server.

By Installing ZipToNetX on a Windows server or any other Windows client computer and by entering the FTP Site address, User and Password of where the data is to be backed up to, each client computer backs-up the selected data files over the network.

ZipToNetX's log reports and email error reports keep a full record of all data managed by the system. In the event of a PC or server complete failure the log can be accessed and the data recovered by using the fail-safe restore utility. ZipToNetX makes it easy to restore individual files, a complete hard drive (including the registry), or your entire server in a single operation.
